The motel had a charming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The decor was tastefully done, with beautiful vintage touches that added a touch of elegance. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail, such as the comfortable seating areas and handrails in the hallways, which made navigating around the motel much easier.

It would have been even better if there were more activities or organized outings specifically designed for seniors. Perhaps some gentle exercise classes or sightseeing tours catered towards our age group would have been a nice addition.

It was a quiet hotel in a great area, near city centre & beach, Devon Street shops and eateries, and the magnificent Coastal Walkway and beach. The management was lovely and obliging, as well as the staff. The location was brilliant, just 5 min walk from an excellent museum. I appreciated the stay and would recomand the venue: D

Everything was great, including nice staff and unbeatable location to the beachfront where there is a walkway which we enjoyed walking along. The room was spotless & spacious together with microwave and bigger kitchens, for example. We truly enjoyed great food. We've had an awesome stay which was suppose to be a restful holiday.

The variety of animals at the nearby zoo exceeded expectations - I felt like I was in a jungle! The motel's swimming complex was so fun, I actually forgot that I can't swim!

The lack of lifeguards at the motel's swimming complex was truly exhilarating - who needs safety when you're having a blast?

Possibly the best and QUITE COMFORTABLE stay which was suppose to be a restful holiday. Neat and compact room and large bathroom with a shower, hairdryers, and bath sheets. Magnificent view of the garden.

All in all everything was excellent, had a really comfortable stay which was suppose to be a restful holiday. The room was neat with replenished supplies of tea and a double bed, for example US$ 203. The hotel had a favourable location very close to New Plymouth Cbd. Set in 10 minutes' walk to downtown, and the staff were very-very nice and exceptional. We loved an excellent restaurant with a local menu.

the rooms are compact and new-fashioned here with replenished supplies, biscuits, tea. a microwave, an electric kettle and a fridge are a nice touch.

stayed here and loved the silence. perfect location for exploring on foot. friendly host, fresh room, and bonus spa bathtub.

As low-budget travelers, we were impressed by Bella Vista Motel's central location, great value for money, and clean rooms. The motel provided helpful information on New Plymouth's restaurants and attractions, making our stay even more enjoyable. The cafe opposite the motel served excellent coffee, adding convenience to our mornings. We appreciated the quietness of our room and its warmth, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We felt very well during our stay at Bella Vista Motel and have no complaints.

Location was the main criteria. The motel was clean and warm and totally acceptable for what we required It was new and all the fittings etc were in excellent condition. The staff were very helpful.

We had a fantastic stay at Bella Vista Motel in New Plymouth. The owners were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us when our car wouldn't start. The unit was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shopping area and beachfront, where we enjoyed strolling along the walkway. We also loved visiting the Govett-Brewster art gallery/Len Lye centre, which was just a block away. The laundry facilities were a bonus, and the owners even provided a portable battery charger to start our car. We will definitely be returning to Bella Vista Motel in the future.

The name! There is no view - thankfully we never expected one!!

a modern clean hotel. Kitchen equipment slightly upmarket brands and some decent drinking glasses! Very easy walking to CBD and the offer of free internet/broadband.

Great amenities, including free Wi-Fi and ample supplies of tea and coffee. the location is perfect for exploring the local museums and shops. Plus, the comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep.

The room had some street noise at night, but that's to be expected in a city center location. the bathroom was a bit cramped, but it served its purpose for a brief stay.
